I was able to purchase a small, double mane Lionhead doe last night. The exciting part is that her father is a harlequin, so she may give us some of those in the future. She is black and white and we named her Oreo. Can't wait to be able to see the beauties this little girl will
Received a text from a friend of someone that has purchased one of my bunnies. She is reserving the 2 black babies from Pebbles litter for her twin girls. I have a feeling this litter will go quickly...a lot of people are still looking for bunnies :)
All babies are doing well. My current litter of 8 will be ready to go to their new homes on May 4th. They will be 5 weeks old at that time
I woke up yesterday to a litter of 9 (one was a fetal giant and was dead) behind my washing machine. Choco-latte gave me some beautiful babies, many of which had blue eyes, in her first litter. She also gave me my first white bunny - who also had blue eyes. I can't wait to see what beauties she has for me this time. Stay tuned for pictures!
Choco-latte is running around here frantically building her nest. I am expecting to wake up and find a litter of babies behind my washing machine. I hate when they go there - the babies are hard to get to and if I am not around, the babies get so cold. Guess I may have to pull an all-nighter :(
Today we were blessed with the birth of 6 new babies by new mother, Pipsqueak. So far, 2 of the babies look like they will have some interesting coloring. I can't wait to see what they're going to look like!
I started breeding mixed breed rabbits because I love the variation that comes along with it. However, I am migrating towards breeding pet quality purebred bunnies, with a general concentration in dwarf rabbit breeds. In order to do so, I am trying to acquire the following: lionhead does, breeding pair of Holland Lops, additional Holland Lop doe, English Angora doe. If you are a breeder of any of these, please contact me. Bunnies are hard to find!
